  • Society Doesn't Make Sense

I've always thought about this, and I don't know if I am the only one who thinks that this should be the basic idea: I wish everyone was treated how they should be.

Society needs a major change in the way the people act. They should treat good people with respect, and they should shun the bad people for the bad examples they are promoting to practice. Because the only way to truly have good people and have some respect is for the good ones to set an example first. If society can promote and influence the people living in it with the music, drugs and other negative items, then there is no reason why they can't uphold something like this.

I mean, it makes no sense at all if you think about it. We constantly have people doing bad things, but nobody is really there to tell them that they've screwed up somewhere in their line of thinking. People love bad people, for some retarded reason. They're given too many chances when they screw themselves over. Compare that to a good person and you'll see that they will be the first one out the door. They don't care if you're a genuinely good person; they only care if you're useful. If you can't do anything they want, then they hate on you forever until you become a tool. I am directly referring to what society thinks what exterior guidelines you should meet in order to fit in and be accepted. Anorexic women come to mind, and they are a perfect example (no offense if you are anorexic/know anyone who is and have happened to have read this). You may think that these models look gorgeous initially, but when you find out what their eating habits are, it's enough to make you want to throw up. My point in this example is that the exterior image and the process of acquiring anything acceptable in the outside world is just promoting a false sense of appreciation for everyone.

I would have written more, although I don't want to have to place religion and politics into the equation, since that's just too controversial to get into. They are all just too shallow and closed minded, and they can't see the real good in people that have it. They just want to see what you're good for; once you've developed a train of thought to reject what they want, you're a nobody in their terms.

I am not necessarily whining about society; I'm just saying that it needs to change one way or another. People aren't valued for who they are (and that's how it should be.) They're valued for what they should be according to their standards, or for what purpose the rest (or themselves) can benefit from. As a friend of mine once told me, "if you have to change for a person, then it's really not worth it at all."

I fully agree with this blog for many reasons. We definitely need a change for morality and for people to improve because what we are doing is accepting these horrible changes to the point that its "normal".

I totally agree with what your saying many people in this wold think its ok to make fun of people and to treat people like crap because they know that the person they're taking advantage of is kind and will do almost anything for them because they know that that person wwont say no to them. We need chang eand hopefully one day there will be some.

I think the main issue with society, in agreement with your entry is not only what you have stated, but the fact that people do not know their place or their standing in it. For people to all cooperate and get their act together, they need to know where they stand and what they should be doing for what their pedestal implies.

I fully agree with this blog entry. I thought I was the only one who thought like this about the behavior of everyone else, but it seems I am not alone. I find that your blog entry holds much truth.

    Nice blog by the way.
